Hi ! I use very hot water and white vinegar and add a few drops of dawn dishwashing detergent . ( dawn brand works better than other brands ) use a cotton washcloth or dish towel . RINSING frequently .
dawn dish soap, diluted as if washing the dishes. wash with a clean cloth. dry after.
YouTube has plenty of videos about that kind of thing.
I used KrudKutter original concentrate. Put in spray bottle with water, spray on, let set a minute, wipe off microfiber. I then used furniture restore, and they looked like new. You can test inside first. I did not need the furniture restore, but I wanted a high glosss. I used it on all my rock maple stands and bedroom furniture. Had them fifty years, all look new.
I agree that diluted dish soap is a good method to try.
