A professional can grind and polish them.
I have never had marble. There must be a product designed for marble cleaning. I expect that you can use a super-fine sanding block to eliminate small scratches and/or to rub in the cleaning product. I got a fine pad to eliminate minor scratches of my quartz countertop.

If it's eroded you will need a pro to sand and polish it.
A paste of baking soda and water can fix most marble blemishes. Leave the paste on the spot for a few hours and then clean it with water.
