How can I get slime and green mildew off my brick patio?

    Oxyclean and a power sprayer. Worked wonderfully at my aunts place, and mine.

    Yes, DFM is correct.

    But you need to figure out why you have it growing to begin with and stop that cause(s).

    I recommend an extreme pH change and mechanical removal of the roots, while you’re at it.

    I would buy a couple of gallons of white vinegar and dilute it with a 1:3 ratio and add a teaspoon of clear detergent, per gallon of vinegar. Put in a 5 gallon bucket and scrub into to the power-washed concrete with a long handled bristle brush.

    Then power wash again with plain water.


    Find the cause and treat it.

    Power wash! You can rent a power washer by the hour at your home improvement store. You don't have to buy one.
