I put them in the shower and wash them, I wipe the leaves and shake as much of the water off as I can. I leave them there to dry or put them outside to air dry.

I take them outside and use the leaf blower on them. Poof all the dust is gone!

If possible, just take them all outside and use a spray nozzle on the garden hose to rinse them off. I've done this, just used a plastic bag taped firmly to the trunk so the pot didn't fill up with water. If needed you can even spray with a cleaner. Shake well and let air dry before returning them inside.

If they are small and delicate use coarse corn meal in a large, sealable, plastic bag. Put silk flowers, roses, etc. in the bag with the corn meal and shake gently, then use a soft paint brush to remove the corn meal that doesn't shake off. Most dust and dirt will stick to the corn meal, but some will need extra help. If they are large then maybe just use the paint brush.

  • I use a handheld vaccum to clean the dust off then just wipe the leaves down with simple clorox wipes!

I love the shower for this chore! let them set until dry. A neighbor used to use car wax on the leaves to keep the dust off. It helped them from getting so dusty so fast
