You might be able to use CLR, a cleaner you can pick up near anywhere. Try a small test first to make sure the plastic isn’t affected.
Had great luck with a liquid called Wink. It has an acid base, so wear eye protection and gloves, starting from the BOTTOM of the stain. (Ask me how I know.) Works by chemical action and a commercial spray bottle has done wonders on my white deck railing. Rinse well with hose sprayer.
Wink is a great rust cleaner, but like Joe Gimmill said "wear gloves", YES YES YES!!! I can't express strongly enough to WEAR GLOVES when using wink!!! It will penetrate through pores of the skin, even all the way to nerves & bone. Pain from that is excrutiating & will end you up in ER. IN KNOW, BEEN THERE, DONE THAT because I stupidly ignored that recommendation on the bottle. So DONT Do it!!!
If you have spots & small areas or places you can easily get to & do, a little elbow grease, scrubbing pad or stiff bristle brush with Bar Keepers Friend may be an answer for you & a little safer one than Wink. Best of Luck to you!!!
