Hi Bonnie. It's a natural process on the mulch. Just turn the mulch over. The fungus won't hurt anything. Happy Gardening!
Hi. If it's all over your siding, there's a moisture problem. If your sprinklers are hitting the house, that could be the cause. Adjust so they don't. Use a good stiff scrub brush on the end of a broom handle, dish soap and rinse well. Allow to dry. Then use a paint with mold retardant additive.
