Sandy: this may be a job for a power washer! You can rent one at Home Depot.
That sounds like moss or algae. Plain old white vinegar will work. There is a product called "wet & forget" that many rave about. I have never used it as I live where it is super hot and extremely dry.
I use Super-Clean with a little bleach. Also you might try Mr.Clean Magic Eracers.
Rent a power washer! they are great removing algae from outdoor furniture as well as concrete and decking. Check out my post: https://karupp-did.net/power-washer/
We used a power washer with Simple Green.
Use a power washer.
Try Wet & Leave!
Power wash with vinegar and put it in the sun, that will kill the mold.
You could try a spray cleaner meant for outdoor furniture mold and a scrub brush or a power washer would do the trick.
An additional non-chemical option to contemplate is a concoction of vinegar, water, and baking soda. Three generous spoonfuls of baking soda and two parts white vinegar to one part water should be added. Apply the mixture to the furniture stains caused by algae by dipping a cleaning brush into it. Give it five minutes or so.
Hi Sandy, hope this helps you.
Chlorine bleach is the most common product that people use to eliminate moulds on patio furniture. Mix a ¾ cup of chlorine to a gallon of water. Note that this is a very toxic substance that can irritate your skin, so you need to put on protective gloves
