New concrete driveway poured about 5 months ago. New home construction. What are these spots? How can they be removed?

My question as I watched these grandparents was always, "Why are you sweeping your yards, and why is there no grass around your house?" We have grass around ours.
I saw someone else ask about this. You can try power washing it. Many people recommended getting a sand blaster. I'd also call the contractor who poured it!
Normally, any spots that are from curing would be gone by now. If you haven’t had an incident that would cause them like a spill, I would contact the mason who did the job.
That looks like moisture or from a tree or leafs it could be just the way the cement cured
Honestly it looks like just how the cement cured. Its effected a lot over the three days it sets up by the ground beneath it and by the sun and weather etc. You could try power washing it but I think I would call the crew that did it and have them come out to give you some advice.
I agree. it looks like the curing and drying process of the concrete. Check with the company that did the job to be sure. Don't do anything since there should be a warranty
Concrete is a fairly straightforward mixture of cement, sand and water that is used in driveways, basement slabs, sidewalks and even streets. While it generally cures in a uniform fashion, sometimes cement will have dark splotches that show on the surface as the material cures, or dries. There are numerous reasons for this, ranging from finishing methods to mixing methods and specific ingredients.
Call the company that poured this and explain this to them.
I'd call or email the company and ask and maybe send them the pic you posted to see what their opinion might be.
Try this get some off road Diesel fuel The red looking stuff. and spray or brush on Try a small area kind of out of sight! to see if it will work. a 4in.x4in. Put an even thin coat on the area. and wait a few days. It should bleach out the dark spots! The rust looking spots looks to me as mud that floated to the top and dried up. not much help for that! You could also stain the whole thing!
It looks like a part of the curing process, give the company a call and see what they can do about it.
Hello. We had a new concrete driveway poured five years ago and never experienced this problem. I suggest contacting your contractor and having they are professional opinion offered.
If this is only 5 months old, I would call the contractor who did this job. Looks like bad concrete mix, which did not cure properly.
Ask the contractor if all the concrete was poured from one truck, or if some from another truck/batch may have been poured on top of the first batch?
Perhaps the spots that are clearly a different shade from the rest of the patch could be due to two different batches.
Ya,, these spots are common when concrete is poured and it cures too fast. You could try a acid wash then put a sprinkler on it for a few days. Keep it wet for several days... Give it a try
