    High pressure wash with Kilz and then rinse.

    soak good with 5% vinegar, allow to set a bit, then wash off. bleach won’t do it, but vinegar will..

    Pressure washing with commercial detergents works for us, we have two decks, boat dock and shed that need at a minimum -a yearly washing.

    A good stiff-bristled scrub-brush and any detergent mixed in a bucket of warm water, and a whole lot of good-ole elbow grease and determination! DW, who advises to use vinegar, says that "bleach won't do it, but vinegar will". I'm astounded at the amount of false information people are posting on this website! In the real world, bleach is the absolute gold standard for killing mold!! I thought everyone over the age of 20 knew that. I'm jus sayin...

    Pressure wash it or scrub with bleach being careful to protect plants and clothing.
