It is green-treated and never been sealed or stained. It has mold on it.

@spudfred3091 I am currently treating moss and mold on my concrete patio and asphalt driveway, both ancient. Some moss is 'old growth' but the new is burgeoning. I am mixing 1 gallon white vinegar, 2 cups epsom salts, and 1/4 cup Dawn dish soap. So far its turning all the moss brown in the space of about 36-48 hours. I use a garden sprayer for the mixture. Once the kill is apparent then its time for pressure washing and re-sealing/staining/painting. It also works on small plants such as new growth dandelions and such. Fortunately its not expensive. I've gone through about 16 gallons so far and ordered the salt from a wholesaler that sells to the public. The alternative would be to use JoMax which is mixed with water and bleach, then pressure wash. That most definitely works. I did a whole house with it, then pressure washed, then oil-base primer then a top-grade latex top, two-three coats respectively. Oh, almost forgot, all entirely pre-caulked before painting.

TSP (trisodium phosphate--available at any hardware store), a scrub brush and a power washer. Google it. Works like a charm. When dry, use sealant, if you want.

My husband uses sodium hyperchloride (industrial strength bleach) in a watering can watered down to a 20 to 1 ratio. Pour it over the deck and broom it over the surface. At this stage ensure that pets, children and adults stay off it. If they walk it onto the inside floor coverings it will leave very distinct white foot prints! Rinse off with water, once it is dry you can seal it with an oil or a clear matt polyurathane to stop the mould coming back every year. If you have plants around the deck, water them before you start cleaning and again when you have finished to protect you plants as this will burn them if you don't.
