Clean Your Oven Door

2 Materials

Honestly, I didn't think much about the inside of my oven door, but when the greasy grime built up to a certain point, I couldn't ignore it any longer. I wasn't sure this trick was going to actually work because it seemed so simple, and didn't require any toxic cleaners... but the results were incredible!!!
Here's what my oven door looked like before the cleaning process started. I know. So gross! I honestly thought it was beyond repair.
Here's what you need to get that oven clean: baking soda and a scour pad.
And here's what you can achieve! The oven door is so clean, it's actually reflective. I was SO impressed with the results. For the full tutorial on cleaning your oven door, click HERE.

Yes it does clean well and without fumes but good luck not getting it between the glass and the door. No one warned me about that. I did that two years ago and still see clumps of baking soda. Doesn't look very nice when door is open.

    • I didn't have that problem at all, but good to think about. I have read articles on cleaning between the oven door, so I bet there's a way to get in there and clean it out... kinda a pain though :)
