How do I clean the toilet bowl using Colgate toothpaste?

    Aug 12, 2013 · Hold it up high so it doesn’t actually get near the toilet, especially if you still plan on using the same toothpaste to brush your teeth, and squirt a dollop down in the bowl. (Please don’t try to clean the outside of your toilet with toothpaste, that will just make a big mess! Baby wipes, people. they’re amazing.) Photographic evidence:

    Hi! I’d add the toothpaste and start scrubbing. It can help to use a pumice stone to get tough water stains off.

    What an interesting question!


    Just take a dollop of whitening toothpaste and put inside the bowl of your toilet and then clean it as usual with he toilet brush, it will not disinfect it but it will be clean. When you try this be sure to hold the tube of toothpaste well above your toilet so nothing splashes up and contaminates the tube or contents. I have read that this works well for some stains like iron from hardwater. One point is do not use this on the outside of your toilet, it will make a huge mess.
