They just don’t want you to use vinegar or something strong on them.
I Swiffer mine and no problems, but
If I were to make a pH neutral cleaner, I would start with a gallon of distilled water, pour out half a cup, add 1/2 tsp of clear dish soap & 1 tsp salt. Shake it up & let the salt dissolve & the bubbles go away.
Then I’d pour it on my fake Swiffer pads (old clean white t-shirts cut into strips) and damp mop (not wet mop) the flooring.

Mild dish soap or even Simple Green should be good. Do not use mixtures of ammonia or vinegar or other home made strong mixtures as it will damage the floor. If it were me, I would shop for the neutral floor cleaner they recommend and read the ingredients on it to get a better idea of what I wanted to use.
