How do I clean grout?

I found that 9 times out of 10 it's actually less work to get a grout knife and remove and replace

I’ve seen lots of things on this such as vinegar and baking soda paste, citrus cleaners, hydrogen peroxide, all using a brush to clean it. In the end I just used bleach and the went over it after with a steam cleaner (shark)

scrub with a toothbrush or scrubber with 1c bleach in 2gal water. Rinse and dry as you go. The smell will dissipate as you go. You may have to reseal. After ten years of that, I finally took that stone tile out

You can purchase grout cleaner, usually in the tile dept of a store like Lowe’s or you can try : 1/2 cup of baking soda, 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide, 1 tsp dish soap. Mix together the baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and dish soap. Spoon mixture onto grout, wait 5-10 minutes, scrub and rinse or

Ingredients: 1 cup baking soda, 1 cup hydrogen peroxideh

Directions: Sprinkle baking soda onto grout until it is covered, spray with hydrogen peroxide until it is wet, wait 10 minutes, scrub, and wipe clean.

And yes if you re-grout you should seal it ever year

You can clean with a Clorox bleach pen. I cleaned mine, then painted with outdoor paint using a small artist's paint brush. Finally, I sealed it and it looks great. Mine was a 1/2 bath floor and I don't think my sealer set properly the first time.

Hydrogen Peroxide.:-):-)

There is grout stripper. Grout requires resealing every year. I didn’t know that! Several coats. This is very unconventional but both my mom and I did it with great results. I used rubber gloves, one of the foam black paint brushes and bowl filled with The Works toilet bowl cleaner. The thin original one. I get on my knees with a padded towel underneath and do a small section. I “paint” the grout lines wait a couple minutes. It foams up. Then use a scrub brush or toothbrush on the grout lines then I have a bucket of clean warm water and rinse really well. Then move to the next section. Why did I discover this? Well I have spilt this tb cleaner on carpet once and it melted the carpet. My one bad experience. I don’t know what’s in it but it’s strong stuff! It also instantly removed rust water stains from my toilet before scrubbing and no other tb cleaner would even touch the stains with scrubbing. Knowing this after trying all paint removers I used this stuff on outside brick that my preschooler sprayed with fluorescent spray paint. Only thing that removed it! Lol. So it is my crazy secret weapon. For a couple bucks at Walmart it has saved me many times.
