Find the source of the odors. There could be a moisture problem that will cause odors.
To get rid of odors rather than "cover" them up, you can use charcoal bbq briquettes or purchase activated charcoal and place in various areas of your home. The briquettes can be placed in open bowls in corners or behind furniture, etc. They absorb odors quite well, especially in a closed area.
