How do I remove label glue residue from wine bottles?

Have you tried lemon essential oil?

Make a paste of cooking oil and baking soda. Works every time. I keep a tiny jar under my sink for this reason. Just put a finger full on the bottle and start to rub with your fingers then scrape off with finger nail or plastic pot scraper.

When all goo is gone, wash with dish soap.

Rub with vegetable oil then wash with soapy dish water like blue Dawn.

If oil isn’t enough Goo Gone will do it.

You could try soaking them with Goo Gone overnight and then trying to remove it in the morning. That might make it easier!

Try very hot water and a single side razor blade and scrap off the glue under the running hot water as hot as you could stand or try nail polish remover.

Try WD40

Any type of kitchen oil and baking soda will remove the very last glue residue. Just make a paste of the two and rub over the gluey surface, rinse, repeat, until all the glue is gone.

Rubbing alcohol and a scrubby pad work great for me!

Non-stick cooking spray.

Soak the bottles in hot water for a few minutes then scrub with Brillo or SOS pads. Works very quickly.
