Some folks use disinfectant wipes. They are rather large and wet, I have purchased some small alcohol wipes from the pharmacy department relatively inexpensive a dollar or two and find the small square of alcohol -thats not oversaturated does a good controlled moisture-job cleaning a small item like a phone. Dry thoroughly if significantly wet after wipe-down.
Apple says you can use a 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe. Do not use bleach. Here's the link:

A cloth and some rubbing alcohol will do it. Don’t make it too wet to keep the electronics safe. :)
The other key is letting it air dry and not wiping it dry with the alcohol. Again, that doesn't mean soak it.
Wiping with lysol disinfecting wipes. Then a damp cloth and dry to keep it streak free.
Spritz with eye glass cleaner and let sit for 2 minutes. Wipe in a circular motion with a fine microfiber cloth. I do it to mine all the time, have for years. I do it all the way around.

How to Clean and Disinfect Your Cell Phone
Hello, Arline, I use a cotton pad or ball with isopropyl alcohol, the higher the % the better, make sure your phone is OFF, then give it a wipe with a damp paper towel, then once it is dry use the alcohol on a cotton pad or ball and rub all the touch points, let it dry and you are ready to go, this also disinfects your phone.
