Hi Debi! Dust is such a hassle, isn't it? There are a few ways you can reduce dust...
First, and easiest, is to make sure your furnace filters are changed regularly per the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule. This helps filter a lot of dust out of the air. You can also make sure to use HEPA filters in your furnace to further cut down on how much dust is caught in the filter.
You can add another layer of dust protection by using a standalone HEPA air purifier. We've used one in our home for years, and it makes a HUGE difference. They are a little bit of an investment (depending on the size of the room), but well worth it.
With both of these solutions, you'll need to make sure you keep the windows and doors of your home shut tightly at all times, otherwise, you'll just be letting in more dust. During the summer, use an air conditioner to keep your home cool (which will also help with dust, as well).
I hope this is helpful! I also have a free printable house-keeping guide that you might enjoy. You can get it here: https://tinyurl.com/keepinghouse Have a wonderful day!

Seal every opening around doors and windows. This may involve new caulking. This will cut down on what enters your home. Damp dusting will keep it from flying into the air when you clean and landing elsewhere. Air cleaner running all the time. Change filters monthly. No pets is huge toward this.
