How can I remove the clouding in my windows?

The seals on several of my IGU (two layer glass) windows have caused the inside to significantly cloud up. Is there a way to separate the two layers of glass so I can clean the inside? AND then put them back together?

If the foggy surface is between the glass, you likely have a broken seal. The fog may come and go, but eventually the window will be permanently fogged.
To repair windows with failed seals you’ll have to either replace the glass units or replace the sash, depending on both the extent of the damage and whether the windows are still in warranty or not.
Most manufacturers include their name or ID, as well as a manufacturing date or date code, near the spacer (the material between the glass) or on the bottom of the glass to help you determine whether the window is still under warranty.

This isn’t a DIY job. Once the windows are separated and cleaned they have to be reassembled and the space between filled with pressurized argon gas.
It really sounds like you need the seals replaced. Call your local window shop and maybe they can do this at a reasonable price.
Clouding means issue .. I think glass needs to be replaced or whole window if it is cheaper
Once the seal fails the inert gas Argon leaks out and air gets in causing the fogging. The energy efficiency is also compromised. There is no way to clean them. The glass panel would need to be replaced not the whole window. Ace Hardware sells and installs double glass panels.
Replacing just the glass in a window is generally less costly than replacing the whole window.
Sadly, no. You will have to have it repaired. Possibly they can replace a section rather than the entire window.

The seal is broken and the window needs to be replaced.
No, that’s not really an option if you want the windows to perform well. Once the seals go, the only resolution is to replace the windows unfortunately.
