We have faux wood blinds that don't close tight anymore.
They let too much light in when tilted up. How can they be tightened up so they close properly?
Try TSP cleaner found In the paint ilse. It work for on my parents walls before we painted them removes the tar and oils that cause the yellowing
I've taken mine down & soaked them in the bathtub using laundry soap, Oxyclean & a quarter cup of bleach. Use a soft scrub brush to gently scrub them. It helps A LOT to have a helper when doing this. I've also done it outside using a cheap plastic window box type planter (use a water proof tape to cover drain holes) & give them a good spray with the hose to rinse after scrubbing. gain, it helps to have a second pair of hands when doing this.
