Gorgeous classic furniture piece painted in navy blue with huge crystal knobs!
This particular dresser was super simple to recreate! I started this project by cleaning with a solution of half vinegar and half water.
After cleaning thoroughly, I refilled the holes from the original hardware. As you can see the previous owner didn't ensure the finish on the old holes were smooth. My favorite product for this is Elmer's Probond Wood Filler. It sands smooth, and is paintable!
Here she is before. I didn't prime this piece because it seemed like the previous paint job used flat paint. There was plenty of grip for my rich navy blue to adhere to.
I rolled on two coats of navy blue latex paint. Once it was completely dry, I added the huge diamond drawer pulls! I feel like they definitly help MAKE this piece! So much so, that it sold the same day listed!
