We had made plan changes when we were building our home in our laundry room to accommodate our Freezer. We also moved the sink from the center to the counter-top end. Giving space to fold cloths and crafting on the counter. I wanted to see what wrapping supplies and sewing threads I had. But I wanted the room to be neat and organized.
Sink, with Pet dish in drainer
This picture shows the location of the sink. I use this sink for the pet dishes. Also see plastic bag storage sideways on the wall under the cabinet. Don't pay attention to the green tape on the cabinet door. Its being replaced with a new door.
Picture of the thread wall holder
I like to see what color thread I have. This works very well.
Drawer pull out with all the gift bags
By using different containers I was able to store the gift bags by size in one double cabinet. Also some boxes I can use for gifts. Wine bags are in the front basket.
Drawer with ribbon and tissue paper
In this drawer I store tape, small gift boxes, some ribbon, and a selection of Tissue paper. Also packing tape.
Corner wall showing thread and paper
Here you see three wall mounted wood shelf's, the thread and wrapping paper attached to peg board. Ribbons are on a very long curtain rod located on the bottom of the peg board. The wrapping papers are on inexpensive curtain rods. Other wrapping paper is stored in a wire basket attached to the peg board. Five dollar store baskets hanging, hold scissors, paint brushes, lint brushes and other frequently used art supplies.
Front view of the peg board wall
Here you can see the hanging wrapping paper and the small plastic baskets.
Washer, dryer & Freezer side.
The builder included one brown Cabinet that is mounted above the washer and dryer. I store the Ironing board rarely used and mops in the small area between the dryer and freezer. I have two White Cabinets on the walls which were damaged and not used in the kitchen. In the Laundry room I did not care that we had two colors. On the white cabinet end is a wire basket that stores grocery bags. Also the Iron holder on the wall and a trash basket for fabric softner sheets and dryer lint.
Suggested materials:
