I'm so glad people throw cool things away! I'm so glad they put them on the side of the road! I'm so glad when all the stars align and I just happen to drive past.

I drove past a business one day and saw these medical pamphlet holders (2 of them). I stopped immediately and put them in my car. Read on to see what I did with them...
Of course before I did anything I had to determine just what purpose this thing would serve!  I have a creative daughter, who loves art.  She has always had drawers full of supplies.  I thought this would be the perfect display for all of her supplies, up top at least.
After deciding it would be for her I thought she could also use a little message center too.  I would do that along the bottom.
The first steps were to take it all apart, sand it a little, prime it and spray paint it.
If you're interested in seeing the process, please hop over to my blog!  In short I covered some cork to turn the bottom section into something useable for my daughter.
It turned out fabulous!  It was such a fun project and so unique and different!
I did finally finish the second one and it is in my craft room.  I'll be posting that project on my blog soon.
