Pegboard on the wall helps a lot. You would probably need screws and a drill however.
Debra Brooks Kapellakis - You can Nail containers to the wall with hammer and nail
What are you looking to store?
Stacking clear plastic shoe boxes from the Dollar Tree on a shelf or bookcase, plastic cubes stacked on top of a dresser or shelf in a closet.
Pegboard and hooks will save you a lot of trouble!
Tension rods and curtain rods are fantastic. you would only need your hammer and nails for the curtain rods. You can hang ribbon directly on the rods or from the rods and if you go to the Dollar Tree you can obtain plastic baskets that have handles that can easily hang from the curtain rods with shower curtain hooks. I did this in the closet of my craft room and love it.
