I had to laugh! I am the most disorganized crafter ever, but I do collect organizing ideas. Only you know how much space you have to work with so why don't you do a search on Pinterest for craft organization? That's where I store all my ideas. If you come across anything spectacular, please share. It might not get my studio organized but it could give me a spur in the behind. ;-) (As if that were your primary purpose!)

I try to work on one project at a time (that's the real challenge) then I'm only researching and looking up tips for one thing. Then I move on when I'm done.

I had a big ole belly laugh! I stole my craft room when my husband started using his phone and our new tv to check ballgame scores and do research for his sermons. In his former den, I slowly cleaned off his accumulations of papers, printouts, books and cutesy preacher gifts. (We have bookcases and desks all over the house for his things.) I set up all kinds and sizes of cardboard and plastic boxes to hold each kind of craft supply. I taught school for thirty years, and I had items such as twenty big pairs of scissors that I had bought through the years. I labeled each box with whatever was handy and stacked the boxes in the small closet and on every other shelf and surface. Mission finally accomplished, but it took a whole small room to do it. With enough looking, I can now find most of the supplies I need for many crafts. And someday, I'll reorganize the organizers so that they are easier to locate.

I am a multi-multi crafter. I keep all supply that apply to one craft together in see through boxes and labeled. (tye dye, marbling, sewing fabrics and trims, bookbinding, caligraphy, etc) Beads are all by color and type in pull out draw cabinets. Crafts that overlap are kept together by type. (metal tools, string, wire, glue, etc) When I work on something I get out those supplies and then they can be easily put away. AND EVEN WITH THIS MY ROOM IS A MESS. In other words there is NO SOLUTION, deal with it. Sad!

I'm in the process of rescuing an old dresser and turning it into an island for my kitchen--just to hold my craft stuff . Most of favorite crafting involves making homemade soap , bath products , candles , etc. It's all done in the kitchen . So that's where I snatched my space. What do you do and where do you do it? How much space do you want /need?

Instead of keeping the whole magazine, cut out the article and store in a folder. Different folders for different subjects, like gardening, bathrooms, kids crafts, knitting, etc.

Wow! You are good. I do have my supplies in order. It's the ideas...and now more saved in my phone. Do I print them out or put them

in folders hoping one day to make them? Lol.

Yes, that's my challenge. i have several projects started because it depends on many factors to what I will work on. If I'm watching TV, I can crochet. If im

in the basement on a rainy day, that's where my scrapbooking is. Lol. I'm trying to focus on one thing at a time. Thanks for answering.
