I love candles, but they don't always smell the way I want them to... so, I decided to make my own! It was super easy, and definitely within my budget!
I chose a fashion-friendly mercury glass candle holder for my new lavender scented candle.
What You'll Need: Wax Chips (soy or beeswax) Oil Scent or Oil Diffuser Scent Wax Wicks Candle Holders
Place wax chips into glass measuring cup and then place the glass into boiling water. Once melted add fragrance drops to mixture.
Once consistently melted, add wax to candleholders with wicks. TIP: To help wicks stay in place, dip the metal ends into the wax and then adhere to the bottom of the holder before adding the rest of the melted wax.
Once dry, trim the wicks and enjoy!

I use paraffin wax, but I'm unable to get a good smell. Do you have a formula/idea on how much scent-to-wax ratio?

Very pretty! I hate throwing away so much wicking so I'm thinking of using a soft drink can piece at the other end of the wick and getting double the use from them. Has anyone else tried that?
