Succulents can create beautiful centerpieces for a table, console table, outdoor living space, or to simply place on a shelf. Instead of placing each succulent in individual pots, place them in one open container for a gorgeous miniature garden of succulents. Here's how!
Step 1: Gather all of your materials so that they're in one spot and you aren't left running around.
Step 3: Spray paint your PVC pipes in your desired color. We went with copper. You'll also want to spray paint the handles and screws the same color if you're using handles.
Step 3: Once everything is dry, attach the handles to the side of your cedar bird feeder. If you don't have handles to attach, skip to the next step.
Step 4: Before adding the succulents, place the PVC pipes in the bird feeder. Move them around until you like how they look in the container. I started with the tall ones in the back and placed the shorter ones in the front.
Step 5: Fill the bottom of each PVC pipe with dirt. Then add a succulent to each one. You may have to fill in with a little dirt at the top.
Step 6: Using the pebble rocks, fill in the rest of the spaces at the bottom of the bird feeder.
You now have a succulent garden you can display anywhere in your home. And since the bottom of the bird feeder has tiny holes, you can easily water the succulents once or twice a month while allowing the excess water to successfully drain.

It looks like the pvc pipes are hollow, so wouldn't the soil you put in just end up going through the holes of the tray ? That could be very messy.
