Creating a Fall Centerpiece

One of the easiest ways to decorate for Fall, in my opinion, is to swap out your table centerpiece. I have a “standard centerpiece” that is on my table for most of the year, but as soon as Fall or Christmas hits I’m ready for a change!
Here is how my dining room table usually looks. It’s a great neutral centerpiece for everyday, and is so easy to change out for different seasons!
The first thing I did was exchange the big green leaves with dried hydrangeas. I love the look of white pumpkins and dried hydrangeas for Fall. Clean, neutral and simple. My favorite!
I filled the lanterns with a mini pumpkin and gourd vase filler I found at Michael’s. I wanted to do something other than a basic candle in the lantern, so I thought the vase filler would be a fun touch.
I love white pumpkins wayyy too much, so I added a white pumpkin and a cute little green gourd to my vignette.

I arranged them to my liking, and that was all! Now I have a festive centerpiece that fits the season.
It will be an easy swap out to Christmas. I am planning on changing the fall vase filler out with ornaments, and replacing the dried hydrangeas with some sort of flocked evergreen/branch arrangement. I’ve got my wheels turning… ;) Until then... Happy Fall!

Oh I love it. I have no creativity within, that gene doesn't exist in me. I have seen then lanterns but since due to medical condition can't have candle so I never had any other idea, you have helped me along with this site to think outside the box although I may run with this idea. Thanks continue to post please.
