Easy To Make Crochet Sunflower Tablemat Doily

This is another super simple Crochet Tablemat Doily which you can make to add something fresh to your home decor. Few days back I had shared the pattern for Easy To Make Crochet Sunflower Mini Doily. One of my reader ...Jacqueline...had requested for a pattern to make the Mini Doily into a Tablemat. So today, I am sharing the pattern for this Pretty Sunflower Tablemat Doily which you can team up with the Mini Sunflower Doily. These would be great to brighten up any space and they would make great gifts for your loved ones.


Size:- 15 inches(Can be made to a size of any choice by repeating certain rounds)

Round 1:-


Make a Magic Circle with the Brown Yarn.

Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch)

12 Double Crochet in the Magic Circle.

Pull the yarn end to close the loop.

Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.

12 Stitches.

Round 2:-


Start with 1 Double Crochet(Not Counted as a Stitch).

1 Double Crochet in the same stitch.

2 Double Crochet each in rest of the stitches.

Slip Stitch on top of the 1st Double Crochet.

24 Stitches.

Round 3:-


Chain 4.(Chain 3 will be counted as 1 Double Crochet and the Chain 1 will be counted as Chain 1 Space).

1 Double Crochet in the next stitch.

Repeat*(1DC,Chain 1)

Slip stitch on the Third chain to end the round.

24 DC and 24 Chain 1 Space.

Round 4:-


Start with Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch).

1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stitch.

2 Double Crochet in the next chain space.

Repeat*(1FPDC,2DC)

Slip stitch on top of the first front post double crochet.

72 stitches.

Round 5:-


Chain 4.(Chain 3 will be counted as 1 Double Crochet and the Chain 1 will be counted as Chain 1 Space).

Skip 1.

1 Double Crochet in the next stitch.

Repeat*(1DC,Skip 1,Chain 1)

Slip stitch on the Third chain to end the round.

36 Chain Spaces.

Round 6:-


Start with Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch).

1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stitch.

2 Double Crochet in the next chain space.

Repeat*(1FPDC,2DC)

Slip stitch on top of the first front post double crochet.

108 stitches.

Round 7:-


Chain 4.(Chain 3 will be counted as 1 Double Crochet and the Chain 1 will be counted as Chain 1 Space).

Skip 1.

1 Double Crochet in the next stitch.

Repeat*(1DC,Skip 1,Chain 1)

Slip stitch on the Third chain to end the round.

54 Chain Spaces.

Round 8:-


Start with Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch).

1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stitch.

1 Double Crochet in the next chain space.

Repeat*(1FPDC,1DC)

Slip stitch on top of the first front post double crochet.

108 stitches.


After this round, the doily measures around 5.5 inches. If you wish to make the doily bigger, then repeat Rounds 5,6,7 and 8 untill you reach the size needed. I made the Repeat Unit Twice.

Round 9:-


Chain 3

Skip 2 Stitches

1 Single Crochet in the 3rd stitch.

Repeat*(Chain 3, Skip 2, 1SC)

Round 10:-


Slip stitch into the chain space.

Change to Yellow yarn while making the slip stitch.

Chain 1(Not Counted as a stitch)

3 Single Crochets in the chain space.

Repeat 3SC in the rest of the chain spaces.

Slip stitch on top of the 1st single crochet.

Round 11:-


Chain 1(Not Counted as a stitch).

1 Single Crochet in the same stitch.

1 Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches.


Slip Stitch on top of the first single crochet.

Round 12:-


Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch). 2 Double crochet in the same stitch.

Chain 2

Skip 2 stitches

2 Double Crochets in the next stitch.

Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.

Round 13:-


Chain 1(Not Counted as a stitch). 1 Single Crochet in the same stitch.

1 Single Crochet in the next stitch

Chain 5

1 Single Crochet in the chain space.

Repeat*(1SC,SC,Chain 5,1SC(in chain space)

Weave off.
