A beautiful wooden box with legs, rope moulding and decorative pieces .
We used Poplar wood, however any wood would work. Leftover barn wood, fence wood or redwood. I see some people using whiteboard wood.

This box is 48" long. and 9" wide.
He cut two end pieces two side pieces and the bottom. Gluing and adding screws. He used DecoraMold moulding to give the box a finish edge.
I wanted pretty legs added to the box and a decorative onlay. We found everything at Home Depot.
I didn't want the box to be too tall, so he shortened the legs a bit.
Here is the onlay. A pretty decorative piece for the front and back of the box.
Suggested materials:
  • Poplar wood   (Home Depot)
  • Decora Moulding- rope trim   (Home Depot)
  • Two Onlays- decorative pieces   (Home Depot)
