It drives me insane when a sneaky gust of wind messes up a table we’ve spent hours decorating. Instead of relying on plates and cutlery to keep the cloth in place you can make your own inexpensive tablecloth clips that fits your unique decor and are keeps the tablecloth from becoming a parachute.

What you need for the tablecloth clips: - 8 Pinch clips (you can find them at most office supply stores) - 4 little buckets - Beads and glass stones to match your decor - 0.5 mm Beading wire

Cut four 25 cm pieces from the beading wire and fold each piece in half. Attach a pinch clip in the fold and string beads in any order on the beading wire. Add as many as you want in whichever order suits you. Finish off by adding another pinch clip to the end and knotting the wire. Trim any extra bits of wire.

Fill the little buckets with stones, sand, shells, some beads or anything else that’s heavy enough to act as a weight and the clips are ready to protect your tablecloth from any pesky breeze. Simply hang off the edge of your tablecloth.
