Outdoor Tablecloth Weights (Updated)

It gets pretty windy here! I love the tablecloth I have on the outdoor table. The problem is....it blows all over the place. I've been thinking of different items I could use to weight the table cloth down. I wanted something that I could remove also, if I have to wash it . I have perhaps too many bins of 'stuff'. I found some curtain clips. Now I just have to figure out what to add to them for weight. These are some of the options I had:
I decided I wanted sparkle! Of course. So I painted the clips with Rustoleum Metallic Spray Paint.
I decided to go with the marbled vase fillers. They have weight and would look pretty with the silver. I used 'Goop' to glue them inside the ring. I glued them in,one at a time Tip: Sometimes it's hard to put the cap back on the glue. I put a bolt in the end instead of the cap. It keeps the glue inside, doesn't leak, and I don't have to fuss with the cap.
3 of them fit in perfectly! I let dry overnight....In the morning, this is how it looks! Love it! And it keeps the tablecloth where it belongs!

I have just finished installing the pavers patio, so those pics are next.
I placed them where the tablecloth lines up with the legs, so it doesn't bother anyone sitting down.

I just wanted to add....what a nice feeling it was this morning to go outside to feed the birds and not have to hassle straightening out the tablecloth. It worked perfect. You can always add shells if your going for the beach theme.
Some of you mentioned you had very strong winds. This made me think...If you want even more weight, add more marbles (vase fillers) In the picture above you can see there is room for more. So I added three more....see below..
It even looks nicer hanging with 6 inside. I suppose you could even glue them around the outside of circle....that just may look pretty! Check out my other projects at: kelleysdiy.com

Yes tablecloth is very pretty...about the gluing marbles...you glued each one to the side, then glued them all together? This is a great idea! Love it.

Hi Kelley...I thought I read somewhere that you baked the glass to make them sparkle. Was my mind in the wind or did I just miss it. I have all the pieces for this project but I do LOVE my glitter and wanted to try it. If I am right about this, what temp did you bake them?

Super cute! Can you tell me the size/diameter of the rings you used?

I love it. I’ve looked on line for tablecloth weights and they are expensive and not nearly as cute as these.

You could also make them ornaments for your tree. Just use Christmas items on hand or buy miniature ones to put inside also children’s photos. I especially like the clips rather than tree hooks for smaller areas to hang.
