Does anyone have an idea to replace those cheap plastic table cloths?

Looking for ideas for the folding tables in our church hall that would look nice for our annual retreat and doesn't cost a lot.

Go to thrift stores and look for table cloths and shower curtains and repurposed them

Fitted sheets! You will probably have to add a length of elastic all the way around the edge of the fitted sheet to make a tighter fit to your tables, but it's worth it. They are washable and re-useable and customizable depending on what sheets you choose.

I sew so I would go to JoAnn Fabrics, get the length I need "on sale" of course and just cut to size, serge or hem the cut ends and good to go.

Kmart and Walmart sell basic white or ivory tablecloths that are very inexpensive, just a few dollars more than the plastic ones. Kmart even runs sales on them sometimes.
