How big is big?
One could hot melt glue fabric (in the wedding colors) to the outside of a plastic pan or bowl or even a rimless trash can
and then I’d fill the bottom with glued in styrofoam & then florist’s foam on top of that. This will keep the water-weight down.

Remember to keep any flower arrangements that are going on the head table at a wedding low enough so that the faces of the persons sitting there will not be hidden behind the flowers.
Guests will be wanting to see and take pictures of firstly, the bridal party, and secondly, the flowers.
