DIY Pedestal Dish

FrugElegance
by FrugElegance
Crystal Dish & Candle Holder purchased at the local dollar store! Easy to create & looks beautiful. Decor Craft
Using either glass glue or a glue gun, apply glue around the top of the candle holder & place the dish on top & secure till dry. *use glue that dries clear
Leave the small area in candle holder empty or place a few beads before gluing the dish on top.
Some options would be to paint the pedestal &/or dish. The dish we are using here has a pretty heart pattern- perfect for Valentine's Day Candy!

I have put 2 plastic "ice gems" (vase fillers) in the candle holder part to make it look less candleholder-ish, too. Be sure to use a waterproof glue (hot glue or glass glue best)

@Ruth Great idea with the ice gems. Good point Rue about waterproof glue. Though we did not, I only lightly wash the dish as it only holds candies. Thanx so much!

@FrugElegance No problem, I just know how disappointing my first attempt was. Seasoned crafters would know, but us "newbies" in DIY... :-) I also filled the top of one candlestick base with pretty opalescent glitter for a hurricane lamp look (good old Dollar Tree!)
