I really enjoy setting a pretty table at the holidays, even on the 4th of July! I do not enjoy spending a lot of money or storing things that I only use once a year. So I'm using diff that I already own to creat our Tablescape for Independence Day!
The base of this Tablescape is actually a scarf I got at Walmart on clearence for five bucks! The navy color was perfect with my collection of blue and white dishes.
My collection of blue and white came almost exclusively from thrift stores, except for the Blue Willow salad plates. They were my Mother's.
I found these cool striped napkins last Fall in Target's Dollar Spot! Three dollars per pair:). They sort of lend a casual Farmhouse feel to my table.
My centerprice is a simple arrangement of red flowering annuals tucked in a white planter that I already owned. A white or blue bowl from your kitchen would also work just as well. I really love the single but substan pop of bright red in the middle of the table.
The rattan chargers and wicker tray lend texture and keep the casual even with my collected China pieces. You can find the entire store about this table over at my blog. Just follow the link below. Happy 4th of July!
