5 Minute Dollar Store Candle Craft for St. Patrick's Day

This 5 Minute Makeover for a Dollar Store Candle is a super easy craft that is quick and inexpensive for St. Patrick’s Day decor.

For this holiday, I don’t go all out with decorating. I put together a cute tablescape and a wreath and I’m done. I also don’t want to spend much money. Dressing up dollar store items is a great way to keep the cost low.

When I spotted these mini Mason Jar candles at Dollar Tree, I knew they would be just the right size for my St. Patrick’s Day tablescape.

The ribbon was on sale at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft, but you can find fun St. Patrick’s ribbon at the dollar store, too.

I’ve had a bag of gold coins in my craft stash that I used for some napkin rings.

What makes this a 5 minute craft? All you need to do is cut and wrap and one strip of ribbon around each jar and secure the ribbon with a dot of hot glue. To cover the spot where the ribbon meets, glue on a gold shamrock coin.

I love easy crafts like this one and I always love finding items that I can use for crafting either at Dollar Tree or at thrift stores.

These added to the fun look of my St. Patrick's Day tablescape last year.

If you love easy, budget friendly crafts, I'd love for you to stop by Across the Blvd and have a look around.
