I like to change my front door wreath often. I'm sure many of you have tried this wreath. I love the way it turned out. It can be completed in a day. The time involved is mostly drying time between coats of paint
I purchased the flat clothespins at Walmart. Sometimes you can find them at the dollar stores. I used stars I found at Michael's. The number you need depends on what size frame you choose.
I placed the pins on first too plan the layout. Then put two or more coats of craft paint on the clothes pins. Be sure to paint the stars too.
When all painted pins are dried clip them on the wreath. Then use hot glue to attach the stars. There is no wrong way to do this. Make it look the way you choose.
Enjoy! Happy patriotic holidays in your future.
these are two of my precious granddaughters and my great hubby of 48 years. And if course our dog Aggie!

Do you think using cans of spray paint would work for the clothespins instead of painting each one individually?

I don't know if spray paint will work but I am going to try it. When I get done I will post again and let you know how it works.

Thank you!! Thank you!! I’ve started a couple different clothespin wreaths and gotten so frustrated with myself because I couldn’t get them lined up properly (I’m extremely OCD when it comes to my crafting) and I love the way yours looks with them spaced out so cutely.

the only other thing I did was to paint the wreath mold as well. Beautiful job
