Create a Halloween Tree

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I mean, how great is it to dress up like what you want to be when you grow up, burn candles, eat fun treats, etc. I'm sharing how to make a Halloween Tree! You can see more of my crazy creations here

I found some branches in my yard that had fallen from a storm. I found one that I liked, removed the dried leaves, and placed it in a flower pot with dirt.

I used Rustoleum black spray paint to paint the entire tree. You could lay the branch on the ground and paint it, but I have found if I place it in the flower pot I can coat the entire thing in one shot. I just cover the flower pot to protect it during the painting process.

After I paint the branch I let it dry completely.

Once it's dry, you can leave it as is, or I love to add orange or purple lights to mine for the Halloween night glow. The kids love our easy and not so spooky Halloween trees.

I hope this inspires you to create some branch trees of your own.
