This Deco Mesh Witch Wreath Halloween Decor
Have you ever wanted to buy a handmade wreath but just couldn't justify spending upwards of $75.00? I've been there for sure! Fortunately I have a creative side and do a lot of hand made projects my self. But the thing is you really don't even have to be creative to make your own deco mesh witch wreath...it really is so easy and there really isn't a right or wrong way of doing it. I found a wreath very similar to this one going for $135.00...I made this one for under $30 and if I would have planned it a little better I could have done it for under $20...but I was too impatient to wait for the 50% off coupon at the craft store.
Cut your gold glitter mesh into 5 x 5 inch squares and your ribbons into 5 inch lengths...none of these have to be exact...close enough is OK! I used 40 of each but you could more if you want. Cut your pipe cleaners in half.

Start with the Gold mesh on the bottom creating a gather effect, add the black and then the orange gathering as you layer. Then add another layer of each so you will have a total of six layers. Take your pipe cleaner to secure making a pom-pom. Make sure the ends of the pipe cleaner is in opposite direction to the ends of the ribbon.
Choose a starting point on your wire wreath form. From here you just keep repeating making the pom-poms and securing to the wreath form. As you add your pop-poms be sure to alternate which wire section you are adding to so that you get a somewhat even fullness all the way around the ring.

Time to heat up that glue gun! While it you wait for the glue gun to heat up do a dry run by setting up the legs, broom and hat where you want to glue them. For mine the legs also came with the skirt so I had to play with them a little to get them to lay the way I wanted them to. I also tried a couple different ways to do the hat.
