1. Prepare Your Materials
Gather all the necessary materials for your DIY Easter garland project.
2. Measure and Cut the Pool Noodle
Place the pool noodle flat on a table. Use the yardstick to draw a straight line across the top of the noodle with a marker.
Carefully cut a slit through the entire side of the pool noodle using the marked line as a guide.
3. Insert the Tension Rod
Take the tension rod and push it through the cut and into the center of the pool noodle.
Adjust the length of the tension rod according to the space where you intend to hang your Easter garland.
4. Arrange the Faux Flowers
Trim the faux floral stems to about one inch below the bloom.
Starting with the larger flowers, insert the stems into the pool noodle.
Add additional blooms and faux plant foliage to create a lush and vibrant display.
5. Add Easter Eggs
Snap the wood sticks of the styrofoam Easter eggs a couple of inches below the eggs.
Insert the eggs into the pool noodle to fill in any gaps.
For extra texture and color, use a hot glue gun to attach solid colored plastic eggs to the pool noodle.
Hometalk Recommends!
6. Hang Your Easter Garland
Follow the instructions for your tension rod and adjust the length to fit between two cabinets in the kitchen above your sink or any other suitable space.
Admire your handiwork and enjoy the festive atmosphere it brings to your home!
