DIY Halloween Costume Awards

Today I have a super fun craft for you to work on. I decided to make some of these DIY Paper Halloween Awards to hand out to trick-or-treaters on Halloween. These awards are great for Halloween parties and fun to pass out to neighborhood kids as well. This year might be looking different, but I’m going to do as much as possible to make it fun.

Print out this Halloween awards sheet. (Available on the blog)

Cut out an award circle and an additional circle (with cardstock) for each award. The additional circle will be the back piece. Using a hot glue gun or glue stick, glue crepe paper around the back piece of cardstock.

I used three ribbons for each award. I glued the largest ribbon to the back of the award and then the two smaller ribbons to the front. After the ribbons were added, I used my hot glue gun to add a small disco ball to the front.

Add a piece of double sided tape to the back (or safety pin) so the recipient of the award can proudly wear it. If the decorations aren’t too big, these can also be added to a scrapbook and/or journal.
