Creative, DIY Memorial Day/4th od July Tablescape

Entertainment season approaches! The weather is getting warm and holidays are right around the corner! For me, an inviting tablescape tells a story with personal touches and pops of the unexpected! A simple but creative tablescape wows me much more than glitz and glam! I shared a few tips for creating a one-of-a-kind Memorial Day Tablescape that will carry over and work great for Independence Day Decor too! I turned a window pane into a serving tray, used bed springs and electric insulators and used repurposed chalkboards for a personal touch. See the link below for all the juicy details!
The small electric insulator rests upside down in a bed spring for toothpick storage. Right side up, they hold photos and notes. The chalkboard is a Dollar Store serving platter turned chalkboard. Video tutorial on the blog!
I started with this!
I added instant patina to these old door handles and turned the window pane into a serving tray!
Larger insulators are perfect for candles!
