I’m pretty excited about these DIY Wood Scrap Ghost decorations that I have to share with you today. We put these together on a whim a few weeks ago, just to see how they would turn out, and I think they ended up being really cute! The best part is that they only took maybe 20 minutes each to make now that we’ve got our workshop (almost) properly set up and then a few minutes more to paint!
Here’s how we made them!

We have so much scrap wood in our garage right now and what we used for these was actually some extra 3/4″ plywood cut into strips, but you could use any similarly-sized wood or even wood from old pallets for this project.
We cut a few smaller strips for the cross pieces that actually make up the shape of the ghosts.

We used the brad nailer to attach our little strips to one long post piece. You can see that we ended up using a slightly bigger piece at the bottom to get a good ghosty shape.  We then just outlined our shapes, cut them, and then painted them! So simple!
