DIY Yarn Carrot Trio Upcycled From Spools of Thread

These empty spools from sewing thread were given to me from my Maw Maw. I didn't really know exactly what I wanted to do with them at first and kept them until the right time. Both sizes turned out great and fit together just perfect.
Sometimes I love to just step back and look at all of my supplies and see what I can use to create something new without always having to run to the craft store and spend more money.
I couldn't be happier with how this turned out. I have seen so many cute carrot decorations for Easter and spring. I hope you enjoy this craft and the little things in life that each holiday brings!

I buy the spools on Ebay, they are usually about $15.00 for 2 dozen. I make mini Christmas trees every year, but they can also be used to make Santa Clauses, elves or angels. This years theme was Shabby Chic.
