I love making fun and cute Easter decorations. This Easy Dollar Store Bunny Craft is made using dollar store items and it’s one that kids could enjoy helping to make.

Most of the supplies you’ll need for this Easy Dollar Store Bunny Decoration can be found at Dollar Tree.

To make the pot more colorful, I used DecoArt chalk paint. I gave it one coat, allowed it dry, and then added a second coat.

After the pot is dry, add the bunny and tuck Easter grass inside.

Use small foam eggs and wood skewers inserted to give some height to the craft. I snipped the skewers to the appropriate size for the pot before adding them to the eggs.

Insert the skewers, starting in the center of the back of the pot and arrange them at different heights.

Once I had the bunny and eggs added, I decided that the pot needed a ribbon. This would be easier if done before adding things to the pot. The ribbon is hot glued in place, with the ends meeting at the back of the pot.

I think children would enjoy. They can be used for a casual dining table setting or as tabletop decor. I’ve placed this one in a guest room. It’s sure to bring a smile for guests.

This could be a fun afternoon craft to share with your kids or grandkids. They could use paint markers to add their own names to the pots.
