It's an inexpensive craft idea! Everybody loves budget friendly home decor ideas? You can find the full post HERE, with more photos and specific directions.

Here is a the video tutorial, so you can see exactly how I made it!

I collected my materials. Aside from paint and glue, your basic supplies are a small fishbowl glass votive, a glass vase, wood base and a zombie and a couple of gravestones. I went with the zombie theme, but you could do a witch theme, or any figurine you can find.

I painted the base with a mushroom color acrylic paint and let it dry.

Once dry, I brushed on the crackle medium. Again, I let it dry.

I then painted on black acrylic paint.

While it dries, it immediately starts to crackle. It gives it a great aged effect. You can use a satin sealer to protect the crackled base.

I brushed the crackle medium on the inside of the fishbowl votive and let it dry.

Then, I brushed on the black acrylic paint and it crackled while it dried.

I glued on the zombie and the gravestones. Make sure to figure out your placement before, so that it fits under your vase.

I glued in the moss, to add to the graveyard vibe.

I placed the vase over the zombie. You could end it there. That would still make a nice display and you could have a variety of them on a shelf or side table.

I decided to add the fishbowl votive and glued it to the top of the vase.

I added a battery operated tea light candle.

It looks great in the daytime or nightime!
