I saw these really cute wooden bunny cut outs and wanted to do something fun and easy. Here are three wonderful ways to make them:

Materials:

wood cut 7”x 5”

wooden bunny cut outs

moss

fabric

sharpie

scissors

hot glue

I cut a piece of scrap wood to 7”x 5”

I made them in sets of 2 so I cut two pieces of wood like this.

Then I sanded the blocks.

Next, I stained the block with dark walnut.

Let them dry

Then I used my sander to distress the edges a bit.

I cut the ear of the rabbit with scissors to remove the hole

Then I used my sharpie to color in the edges

I made a bow out of twine

For the next one I covered the bunny in hot glue and stuck moss to it.

For the last one I used fabric and modge podge and covered the bunny with it.

I then let it dry a minute and cut the excess fabric from around the bunny.

Then, I glued all the bunnies to the wood blocks. These are so cute!

I used them on my buffet in my Easter display but these could be used all year round. Hope you enjoyed this fast fun project.

Just wondering why not use wood filler on the hole instead of cutting the ear?
