I was in the dollar store and came across these wood pieces, I picked them up alogn with some other supplies and came up with 2 great Valentine's Day ideas. I think you'll like 'em, take a look!
Wooden Bead GarlandWhat you'll need:
  1. Wood pieces
  2. red wooden beads
  3. twine
  4. wooden hearts
  5. drill
  6. scissors
I began by drilling a small hole into each log. Then take the twine and begin string the beads.
I created my own pattern that went 1 wooden piece, and 2 red beads.
Once all of my beads were strung (or once your garland is long enough), I made a tassel for the end.
Measure a few strand of twine (at the same length).
Then, using a short piece of twine, tie the top of the strands.
There's your tassel!
I then added a wooden heart at the end of the strand.
Iron twine if they are not straight
And here it is! How cute is that?
Photo Holders:What You'll Need:
  1. Wood pieces
  2. saw
I used a scroll saw
What you're going to need to do is make a slit in the wooden piece.
Then, you can place the photo into the slit. There you go! These are great for parties as place card holders, Recipe holders, nametags, table numbers for wedding so many uses and so easy! Have fun with them for valentines put a heart with a love message for that special someone 😍
