Easter Garland

I wanted to make an Easter Garland for the first time. The sky is definitely the limit on creating one. Even after it is done you can still add pieces to make it just right.

I did not add Easter decorated pieces to it. Such as: Easter bunny, Easter Egg or Basket. If I see something I will just add it later on.

First, you will need to gather all your supplies. You will need wire cutters too.

I have used a Garland from Target’s Hearth and Hand Collection.

Four rolls of mesh ribbon from Dollartree.

Fake flowers or floral from Dollartree.

I need not end up using the lighted rope in photo.

Don’t forget the wire cutters and snipe wire about 2 1/2 inches. Any wire will do.

Time to take the mesh ribbon and fold over tying the rope around it to secure to end of garland. Your placement is up to you. I went in about 6 inches from the end of garland.

Time to make little puckers with the ribbon. It gives it a fluffy look. Pinch together and twist a piece of wire to secure it to the garland.

Now after you went down the whole garland you chose the next color and put it next to it as pictured.

Okay, fun part take three colors of mesh ribbon and cut about 8” in length for each one.

You will roll them and place them one on top of the other. One goes toward the right, once toward center and one toward the left. Twist a wire and add to the garland.

I picked one space at the end that had the wire already holding down the mesh puckers. Added my newest circled mesh with wire to that area and repeated the process until I had them at each section that was wired to the garland.

I wanted to add a little mire to my rolled piece. The one that had the three different colors rolled up. I added some glittery floral balls that I found at dollar tree. I just used a wire cutter. I wrapped it around to secure it.

I then added some flowers using the wire that was already attached. I did this throughout the garland to my taste. It truly turned out so pretty.

I have it set up just to show the end piece but it will be hanging from command hooks. Another fun add on would be to use a string of lights.

Happy Crafting!

Last but not least a close up of when I added the Floral pieces.
